She'll be waiting in Istanbul

So who had the bright idea to come to Turkey on a budget and with no luggage space?! I want to fill boxes with homewares, fabrics and tiles and bring them all home! And I haven't even hit the bazaar..

Spent hours just wandering the streets of the Old City. Favourite things so far? The incredibly aroma of Turkish coffee, the piles of baklava and turkish delight, the prices (check out my $6 meal below) and the gorgeous skyline (see below). I am very aware that most things listed were food. Culture is on tomorrow's agenda..
